Martha Clarvoe has been bicycling since she was a young child, but took up riding again at age 50. She has been riding to work from May 1 to October 30 for eight years. She is a member of the League of American Bicyclists and the LAB Saved by the Helmet Club, and President of the Board of Directors of the Otsego County Conservation Association. Clarvoe also serves as OCCA's Special Projects Manager, working on solid waste and energy conservation issues. She lives in Hartwick, New York with her husband, Paul Clarvoe.

Dennis Savoie is a retired physician and an experienced cyclist with more than 100,000 miles biked. He is the author of "Cranks from Cooperstown: 50 Bike Rides in Upstate New York" www.copleys.com/cranks. Savoie is a founding member of ORCA and he sits on the Board of Directors of the New York Bicycling Coalition. Savoie is trained as a League Cycling Instructor (LCI) by the League of American Bicyclists, of which he is a Life Member. He is also a member of the Adventure Cycling Association.
