SUPPORT OCCA AND COOPERSTOWN PTO THROUGH AN ECOTEAM MEMBERSHIP!

OCCA's EcoTeam goal is for our kids to:

• Develop a greater understanding and respect for animals, plants, water, soil, air and energy systems.

• Understand the positive and negative environmental effects of our actions.

• Acquire knowledge of practical, sustainable living strategies which consciously and carefully utilize   our natural resources.

• Obtain information on nature programs, centers and organizations.

MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES:

• OCCA EcoTeam Member Certificate

• Joint Membership in Kids for Saving Earth, a national organization whose mission is to educate, inspire and empower children to protect earth's environment

• Inclusion in special OCCA-led EcoTeam activities and access to interactive online environmental education through OCCA’s website

• Opportunity to assist OCCA staff with environmental programs and projects, including: water chestnut hand pulling; trail clean-up; nature hikes; Earth Festival; Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Garage Sale; Lakes Festival; paint recycling at Household Hazardous Waste Collection day

• OCCA newsletter subscription

• Invitation to participate at environmental events and to the OCCA Annual Dinner

• Recognition in the OCCA newsletter, on the OCCA website and at OCCA events
