Join local botanist Donna Vogler for a short walk at the new Roundhouse Road Trail to learn about identifying and managing woody plants.  This walk is targeted to trail builders, including members of the Regional Trails Network, and is co-sponsored by the Oneonta Susquehanna Greenway.

Invasive shrubs, vines, and other aggressive plants will be highlighted, as well as how to manage them when they overwhelm our trails.  Some nice native trees such as Butternut, Ash, and Box elder, will also be viewed along  this newly opened wetland and wooded trail. It can be buggy and wet especially after a rain, so come prepared.   

Location: Just west of the intersection of Fonda Ave. and Roundhouse Road in Oneonta.  From Chestnut St, turn at Nick's Diner, then park on Roundhouse Road across from Noah's World along the shoulder of Roundhouse Road.
